Boone arrived 5 weeks early and surprised us all for Christmas! He was born in Red Oak, but was transported via LifeNet helicopter shortly after. He spent almost 5 five in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Omaha and was able to come home on Christmas Day. He is doing great now. It was definitely a Christmas our family will always remember!
Congratulations! What a nice Christmas surprise indeed..and now I know what you've been busy with lately. Good to see you and isn't this weather cooperating for us? I know they say it will change shortly, but seriously, this Winter has been a dream! Course no snow in our neck of the woods either, but shirtsleeves and light coats for this time of year is remarkable. We'll get the snow/rain soon enough I'm sure, but I know I needed a reprieve from hard winters for awhile. Take care of that new baby. My daughter who's 28 is living with me now and is expecting this Feb. It's been about 17 years since we've had a baby live here. It'll be quite an adjustment, but I think I'm gonna like it. Of my 5 children ...3 were born 4-6 weeks early..I sure know those worries and I am happy all is healthy and HOME! That's the best part!!
