Did you know that in 2009 PETA found adoptive homes for only 8 of the 2,366 animals it took in? The other 97.3% were killed!!

Unfortunately I'd believe it and that's sad! Also the Humane Society of the United States is just as bad (and yes they are different than the Humane Society...) but people don't know that.
ReplyDeleteHeck PETA wants you to keep horses and cows in air conditioned box stalls in a barn b/c they should have the same luxuries that humans do in the summer. Yes I agree, keep them cool but our horses love to be outside rather than in a barn. Sorry I could go on and on. I dislike the Animal Rights people b/c they are loonies
Wow!! but why am I not surprised...I agree with Nicole J on the loonies. Also, I could go on and on, bottom line is quality of life for animals. Even when they are intended for meat production, I hate loading up and taking in my own steers for slaughter but reality is they are cared for properly and I "Thank Them" properly when they feed us in return. Now on the subject of dogs and cats, mine have it better than the kids....so my kids tell me..LOL!!
