My Birthday Cake

Yesterday was my birthday and one of my favorite things is lemon cake.  Not just any lemon cake, THIS lemon cake.  See, I don't like lemon cake otherwise, but I love this recipe.  So, since it was my birthday, I decided to make myself a cake. 

You'll need:

1 pkg. Betty Crocker Lemon Cake Mix

1 sm. pkg. Jell-O Instant Lemon Pudding

Vegetable Oil

Eggs

Orange Juice

Powdered Sugar

Put the cake mix, pudding, 4 eggs (unbeaten), 3/4 C. oil and 3/4 C. water into your mixer.  Beat for 10 minutes or until smooth.

In the meantime, grease...

..and flour a cake pan.

  

(Try to just flour the cake pan and not the stovetop like I did!)

Once your mix is smooth pour it into your cake pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes.

While it is baking mix together:

1/3 C. Orange Juice

2 C. Sifted Powdered Sugar

2 T. Oil

While the cake is still hot prick with a fork lots of times...

then pour your orange juice mixture over the top

It will sink down through the fork holes.

This cake is so moist and delicious.  Enjoy!
